So, what’s the deal with this blog? Well, we’re going to be serving up fresh, weekly posts that give you our unique take on the world, all through an economic lens with a sprinkle of investment insights. Sounds exciting, right?
Now, let’s talk about Ubajay.com. We’re on a mission to be the world’s first non-custodial investment and trading app. From day one, we wanted to make investing as easy as pie and affordable for everyone. All you need to do is sign up for a subscription (just USD 9.99 plus taxes), connect your online broker account with your API key, hit “play”, and then sit back and relax. Easy peasy!
Ubajay is powered by ANIA, our very own tech wizard. We’ve put ANIA through its paces with real funds (no back tests here!) for nearly 3 years, and the results have been pretty darn impressive. Check out the picture below for a sneak peek at our performance from January 1st, 2020 to the last trading day of August 2022.
A little about me - I’m a bit of an old-timer (46 and proud!), and I’ve been coding since the days of Logo, Basic, Pascal, and Clipper. These days, I’m all about Python. The idea for Ubajay started as my university thesis, where I developed a hedging strategy for farmers using future contracts. Luckily, my co-founders Esteban and Linus are programming pros, so they keep me on my toes!
But enough about us and Ubajay. This blog isn’t a sales pitch. It’s a place for us to share our thoughts and ideas.
